The problem
I read through 135 discussions from people running Google Ads. The most common problem wasn’t bidding or ad copy. It was tracking. Campaigns that suddenly got worse were often counting a page view as a conversion. Accounts that looked healthy were counting the same lead twice.
Google’s automated bidding learns from your conversions. If those are wrong, it learns the wrong thing, and most people never check tracking again after setup.
What it will do
- List every conversion action: what triggers it, whether it’s used for bidding, and how it’s counted.
- Flag common mistakes, like page views counted as conversions, two actions tracking the same thing, lead forms counted every time instead of once, and goals that don’t match the business.
- Compare Google Ads conversions with your own records, if you can export them.
- Give you a list of fixes, starting with whatever is affecting your bidding right now.
Status
Coming soon. It’s next on my list because every other workflow depends on tracking being right.
